St. Cloud Tribune
January 2, 1919
As the Tribune goes to press it is learned that Capt. Alfred
Cranston had passed to the Great Beyond, his death occurring
this afternoon. He had been much of a sufferer more than a year.
His funeral will be conducted by Dr. May Puckett-Foster in the
local Baptist church at 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning.
The remains have been prepared at the Carlson & Newton
undertaking parlors for burial, and this concern will have charge
of the burial, on Sunday.
