Description: 5 Feet 8 ½ Inches Light Complexion, Dark Eyes, Dark Hair.

Deserted: From Hospital on November 2, 1863.

Transferred: on June 2, 1864 to Company K, Fifth New York Veteran Infantry.

Discharged: For Disability to date from November 1, 1863.

Muster Out: Deserted from hospital, November 2, 1863.

  • It was later proven that he had not deserted, but was requested to stay home by doctors.

    Absent: Sick from August 31, 1864 to and including Muster Out.

    Wounded/Sick: On or about the 19th day of September 1862 he was taken with hemorage of the lungs and afterwards rheumatism. He was treated in Harewood Hospital, from there to Hospital in Philadelphia, then to Old Soldier Hospital New York City.
