    DIED
    KELLS-On Saturday, June 28, 1913, at Methodist Episcopal Hospital, after a short illness, FRANCIS KELLS, aged 71 years. Funeral services on Monday, June 30, at 8 p.m., at First Place M.E. Church.

    FRANCIS KELLS
    Francis Kells, a veteran of the Civil War, died Saturday evening at the Methodist Episcopal Hospital, following an operation for appendicitis. He was a member of the "Fighting Fourteenth" during the war and participated in all the battles of that regiment. Before he was seized with his fatal illness he made plans to attend the reunion at Gettysburg. The deceased was a retired printer, living at 487 Henry street, and is survived by a widow and a son.
